About
Come and ‘meet the expert’ in our drop in session with Prof Colin Herron of the Faraday Institution, North East Battery Alliance and Newcastle University.
During his 17 years at NISSAN, Colin was a key driver in launching the NISSAN Leaf across the world and is one the UK’s leading authorities on battery power and its potential, and its place in the green revolution.
Colin will be with one of Steam to Green’s star objects the cutaway NISSAN Leaf electric car and cut away full size battery.
He’ll answer all your questions on anything you like about the batteries in electric cars, and will be able to share his knowledge, why it is significant and what it means for the future.
