Bespoke Workshops

Do you want to come to Discovery Museum and take part in a workshop, around a topic, that does not seem to be on offer? 

Please get in touch with the learning team to discuss workshop ideas. 

We are used to working with EYFS, KS1, KS2 and KS3 students.

All our workshops must link to our museum collections. Here are some examples of the topics we can link with; 

• World War One, 
• World War Two, 
• Victorian Newcastle, 
• Bridges, 
• Ships and Shipyards, 
• Engineering.
• Transport
• Materials,
• Forces,  
• Sounds,
• Batteries,
• Lightbulbs,
• Light,
• Shadow, 
• Turbines,
• Energy Production,
• Steam to Green.
• Local inventors and their inventions.

Please note that bespoke workshops must be booked a minimum of 6 weeks in advance. 

This is to ensure our busy team has time to develop a session that meets the needs of your class.
