The Discovery Museum is home to a fantastic costume collection. We have fragments of Egyptian fabrics from 700-800BC and even more modern objects, such as a pair of ripped jeans and a hoodie from Primark.
Costume can be items of clothing, from dresses to trousers, or could be accessories such as hats or gloves.
