About

Do you know where your toaster comes from?

How much energy really gets used so you can toast your slice of white?

Join artist, maker, scientist and fix-it café co-founder Marek Gabrysch for a fun, immersive journey into the life of a £7 toaster and the environmental consequences of cheap single use electricals.

This global journey will take in modern consumerism, material unsustainability, the right to repair and the circular economy - all whilst making toast and having a brew.
